Seriously I’ve said this before and I mean it, I love a
Monday.
Maybe more of a symptom of how empty my life is but I look
forward to the work week way more than the weekends.
Also, on day four of the cleanse portion that is more of a
no sugar, no flour than a nothing but water cleanse and I am feeling pretty
damn good.
It could be the fifteen pounds I am down since last
Thursday. To be honest most of that was
intestinal backlog and not a real cutting into the rolls of fat on my gut but
it still counts.
Managed to survive a Saturday trip to the grocery store and I’d
like to petition Publix to move the deli and bakery section away from the fresh
fruit and vegetables. I am in constant
danger of confusing cupcakes with tomatoes.
So it’s back to the happy grind of work and taking my mind
off food. No TV with commercials for
food. No computer time with ads for food
spamming all over them. Maybe a moment
on Pinterest and a repin of banana cream pie cupcakes, but that’s okay right?
After the ten day cleanse I’ll get my calorie count up
slightly and get into the exercise program.
Apparently diet plus exercise is better than just diet, not
just for calorie burning and muscle toning but also for healthier living and
better quality of life over time.
Now if I just had a life.
